SkyRun
SkyRun is a trail-running race in Eastern Cape, covering 100km, 65km and 38km, on 17 November 2018.
The SkyRun is an epic mountain run of 100km, considered by many athletes to be the toughest trail run in South Africa. The self-supported, self-navigational race starts in Lady Grey and heads into the remote Witteberg mountains, which rise to 2408m and are home to over 650 plant and 80 animal species.
A new 38km route has been introduced this year, which is an ideal stepping stone for trail runners who are new to Skyrunning. It starts at the Wartrail Country Club, when the winner of the 100km race crosses the finish line. There are 100 entries available.
