The Run2Nowhere, 2-day trail run forms part of the R2N Events family, that is based in the town of McGregor in the Western Cape. The inaugural event took place in 2017 and entries were limited to 120 runners, which was sold out only a few weeks after opening the entries.
The Run2Nowhere is aimed at trail runners preparing for longer multi day events or runners that would like to attempt their first 2-day trail run. The route offers a good challenge and reward, and consist of mainly single tracks, a few open gravel roads and some steep climbs with amazing views.
Stage 1 start and finish in the centre of McGregor town at the race venue.
Stage 2 starts at Lord’s Wines about 10km outside of town – hop on the event service bus or use your own transport- and the finish is back in McGregor.
Due to the moderate running distances per day participants have the opportunity to spend the afternoon exploring the town or relaxing with friends and family – making it an ideal weekend away and enjoying the outdoors!
As with all our R2N events we strive to support the local community by using them for 70% of the event service which in return creates a very unique atmosphere where participants can experience the local hospitality and entertainment. The event is inclusive, hassle free and focuses on shared experiences, accessibility and participation for everyone.
