La Capra Goat Run Festival

The 8km, 15km and 28km routes traverse the slopes and upper areas of Paarl Mountain and promise rewarding views. The 5km caters for less serious runners and walkers alike. The Daniel and Friends Push Forward 5km is ideal for moms with prams.

The King and Pearl of the Mountain on the La Capra Extreme each win R1,000 for reaching the top of Paarl Rock in first place. In addition, there are wonderful prizes and trophies for the male and female winners over all distances. The goodie bag is the stuff of legends.

Afterwards, there’s a festival with wholesome food and a kid’s entertainment area.

Proceeds are donated to the following charities: Drakenstein Hospice, Sunfield Home, Paarl Mountain Reserve, Sunflower Fund, Daniel and Friend’s Fund and Jurie du Toit Autism Centre.

Pre-enter on entryninja.com/events/event/24161-goat-run-2018, or at Cape Union Mart Adventure Centre, Canal Walk (outside the mall) on 4 October, between 1pm and 7pm, or at Fairview on 5 October, between 4pm and 6pm, or on race day, from 6am.
