Mandela Day Marathon

Mandela Day Marathon is a road-running race, marathon and half marathon in KwaZulu-Natal, covering 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km, on 26 August 2018.

The marathon starts at Mananye Hall in iMbali, where Nelson Mandela made his last speech as a free man in 1962, before he was arrested by the Apartheid police.

Athletes are bussed back to the start of the race after they have finished.

Pre-enter at mandelamarathon.co.za. Entrants receive a goodie bag and a race pack.
