Summer at Val de Vie Estate kicks off with the Cape Winelands Properties Cross Country Run on 7 October 2018. The event offers spectacular views and manageable distances, so everyone’s welcome!

Valley of life

Explore the true natural beauty of the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley and the secure outdoor lifestyle offered by Val de Vie Estate while running past beautiful properties, vineyards, stables, parks and the Berg river. The race starts and ends on the lush greens at the Val de Vie Pavilion Polo Field with a 2km, 5km and 10km distance on the meandering pathways of the estate.

The run is easy and suitable for all runners and walkers – prams, children and dogs on leashes are welcome. That’s not all! Enjoy a spectacular day out at the Val de Vie Market where there’ll be activities for kids, live entertainment and a gourmet food truck with a fantastic range of food and drinks on offer. Don’t miss out!

Distances and entry fees

• 2km = R30
• 5km = R100
• 10km = R140

Entries on race day will be at an additional charge of R20.

Pre-registration opens on Friday 5 October at the Val de Vie Lifestyle Centre between 07:00 – 12:00 and at the Val de Vie Polo Club between 13:00 – 17:00.
