Salomon has released their latest gravel-specific shoe, the Aero Blaze 4 Grvl – a nimble, lightweight, and versatile daily trainer that offers a bouncy, connected-to-the-ground ride without the heavy bulk or high cost of maximalist cushion shoes.

Built for road and trail runners, the shoe moves seamlessly from asphalt to gravel and beyond, combining a responsive, cushioned ride with confident grip. With optiFOAM² cushioning, contaGRIP® traction, and a refined fit with QuickLACE®, it keeps runners moving as the terrain changes.

…a running shoe that takes you from road to gravel and beyond…

Conquer any surface with the Aero Blaze 4 Grvl  – a running shoe that takes you from road to gravel and beyond, with a responsive, comfortable ride and confident grip. It is a neutral daily trainer suited to road or gravel, with a stack height of 35 to 36mm at the heel and 27 to 28mm at the forefoot, with an 8mm drop.

What’s new and who is the shoe best for?

The Aero Blaze 4 Grvl offers runners a more refined and capable experience, with improvements focused on responsiveness, cushioning, fit and versatility.

• MORE RESPONSIVE – A more energetic, responsive ride for a smoother, snappier feel.
• MORE CUSHIONING – More cushioning for improved comfort and a softer feel underfoot.
• IMPROVED FIT – A more refined shape provides a secure and comfortable fit.
• FASTER LOCKDOWN – The new QuickLACE® system makes it quicker and easier to achieve a secure fit.
• MORE VERSATILE – Built to move effortlessly from road to gravel, with confident grip across changing terrain.

The shoe is ideal for runners who want a light, versatile daily trainer that feels controlled and connected rather than plush and bouncy, making it ideal for gravel conditions, as well as the tar.  It suits runners who need built-in arch support and is ideal for lifestyle and all-day wear, as it is breathable, structured, and comfortable all day.  This shoe isn’t for tempo runs or speed sessions, but for steady daily mileage.
