Built to support runners as they push their limits, it’s designed for everything from steady training runs to intense speed sessions. This latest edition combines ZoomX and ReactX foam in a single midsole for the first time, delivering a balance of durability, responsiveness, and plush cushioning to help you go further and faster.”

The design is informed by insights from female runners. It offers a high-stack and highly-cushioned experience that allows you to feel light on your feet. The Vomero 18 will also be offered in kids’ sizes. This is the first time a kids’ running shoe has used ReactX foam, meaning the shoes have the potential to be a favourite for family runs.

A lightweight, breathable engineered mesh upper keeps feet cool all year round, while the addition of plush touchpoints at the ankle and heel is designed with softness in mind. A rubber sole offers durability and traction, while the shoe’s overall shape – an upward curve with rocker geometry  that resembles a crescent –  provides runners with a smoother heel-to-toe transition.

High Stack
The shoe’s stack height is the highest ever in the Vomero franchise, offering a new level of comfort. More cushioning under your feet means a softer ride, so you don’t feel the road under you. A combination of the lightweight, soft ZoomX foam and durable, responsive ReactX foam underfoot allows for a high energy return, meaning you’re prioritising efficiency. The combination of these foams offers a double-stacked cushion for the smooth ride.

The bold silhouette balances performance and expression and looks great from any distance. The Vomero 18 will be available in a variety of colourways to fit a range of personal styles. The lead colourway – Atmosphere Pink – as chosen to represent the joy and energy of running and the community that surrounds it.

History
The Vomero series launched in 2006, and the Nike Zoom Vomero+ soon became the essential comfort shoe in the Nike Running line-up, with cushioning designed to prioritise buoyancy for all distances. Throughout the Vomero’s evolution, performance additions like Air Zoom technology in 2008 and Flywire in 2014 have kept the Vomero at the forefront of Nike innovation.
