Brooks Refines Comfort with their New Glycerin Max 2

After the celebrated debut of the Glycerin Max, Brooks is back with the Glycerin Max 2, a release that evolves the brand’s most cushioned platform while keeping the essence runners loved.

The Brooks Glycerin Max 2 provides a soft, luxurious ride and powerful energy return. It features Brooks’ innovative DNA TUNED cushioning, a nitrogen-infused foam created with a dual-cell technique. The heel is designed with larger cells for plush landings, while the forefoot has smaller cells for a responsive toe-off.
This cutting-edge foam design provides a seamlessly tuned experience without the need for added layers. The shoe also incorporates a GlideRoll™ Rocker with a sculpted bevel and toe spring to promote effortless heel-to-toe transitions. Up top, a new triple jacquard air mesh upper enhances the fit and feel.
Runners applauded the first Glycerin Max for its plush DNA Tuned cushioning and ultra-high stack. With version two, Brooks focused on subtle yet impactful refinements:
- ENHANCED UNDERFOOT FEEL – DNA Tuned foam remains unchanged, but a new sculpted midsole design amplifies softness and adds fluidity. Vertical lines along both lateral and medial sides encourage smoother transitions.
- EVOLVED DESIGN – The lateral upper features new lines that both refresh the aesthetic and reinforce the shoe’s theme of smooth movement.
- REFINED FIT – Taking cues from runner feedback, the last was updated to mirror the popular Glycerin fit, snugger at the midfoot with more space in the forefoot.
