Two Oceans Marathon

The Two Oceans Marathon NPC (TOM) events are classified as the Ultra Marathon, Half Marathon, Trail Runs, Fun Runs, and the International Friendship Run that take place annually, although all events may not take place in each given year. The ability of the Two Oceans Marathon to host each or any of these events in any given year depends on the prevailing circumstances in the year concerned.

The Western Cape’s most prestigious race, the Totalsports Two Oceans Ultra Marathon, takes athletes on a spectacular course around the Cape Peninsula. It is often voted the most breathtaking course in the world.

The Two Oceans Half Marathon was added to the event in 1998, and attracts a sold-out field year-on-year.

Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in the annual Two Oceans Fun Runs at the UCT Rugby Fields, Upper Campus, Rondebosch.

These Fun Runs have become a sure weekend and race entertainment highlight!
