Twizza Super School Series Regional Qualifier 1
The first Regional Qualifier of the Twizza Super School Series will take place at the LC De Villiers Stadium in Pretoria
on Thursday 19 September 2019.
The Twizza Super School Series has one clear goal in mind – to crown SA’s best athletics school! There can be only
ONE WINNER! This school will take home the BIGGEST TROPHY in SA SCHOOL SPORT and bragging rights for one year!
Entry Requirements: Each school will be required to enter a team of 15 athletes across two age groups U/16 and U/19. Categories will include: Girls Competition, Boys Competition and Mixed Competition.
Events that can be entered will include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, short hurdles, long hurdles, long jump,
triple jump, high jump, shot-put, discus and javelin for age groups 16 & 19.
Qualifying Provinces: Free State, Guateng, Kwazulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West (Northern Cape).
The Top 40 schools identified at the Regional Qualifier 1 (19 September 2019 / LC De Villiers Stadium Pretoria) and
Regional Qualifier 2 (05 October 2019 / Green Point Athletics Stadium Cape Town) will go through to the Grand
Finale (01 February 2020 / LC De Villiers Stadium Pretoria).
