Tom Jenkins Challenge
The 2019 Tom Jenkins Challenge will see the introduction of a single lap 21.1 km route. However, the notorious climb up Meintjieskop remains. The 800m hill was constructed by the Italian POW during World War 2. The race ends with an easy down run/walk for both 10 km and 21.1 km participants.
Floating trophies for the largest, fastest and jolliest buses make this a race to show pride in your club and have fun!

RACE INFO
- The 10 and 21 km will start at 06:00
- The 5 km fun run/walk will start at 06:15
- Collectable and special medal to all finishers
- Distance markers every 1 km
- Water points at ± every 3 km
- Cut-off times: 10 km – 2 hours, 21 km – 3 hours.
- Food and drinks stalls available
- Medical support available
- Wheelchair-friendly route for all distances

Capped at 10 000 entries (2 500 for 21.1 km, 4 500 for 10 km and 3 000 for 5 km). Pre-entries close on 9 November
or when the cap is reached.
