The Wolkberg Trail Run
The race offers three options, giving everyone who wants to participate the opportunity to challenge themselves while experiencing the beauty of the Magoebaskloof area. All three distances showcase awesome trails with spectacular views, crystal clear river crossings and pristine indigenous forest. Stage runners can choose from either the on-campus or off-campus package options, and supporters packages are also available for friends and family not participating in the race.
1. Wolkberg Challenge:
Day 1 (10 August): 40km
Day 2 (11 August): 25km
Shared dorm room option: R2550 (Limited numbers of dorm rooms. First come, first serve!) (You get two nights accommodation in a shared dorm room as well as all your meals at the race village and a race garment.)
Tented sharing: R2000 (You get two nights accommodation in a shared tent that has a mattress in as well as all your meals at the race village and a race garment.)
Tented solo: R2500 (You get two nights accommodation in your own tent that has a mattress in as well as all your meals at the race village and a race garment.)
Own accommodation: R1200 (Participants choosing the “Own Accommodation” option organise their own accommodation at either a B&B, a lodge or a friend and therefore do not stay in the race village.)
2. Woodbush Trail:
Day 1 (10 August): 20km
Day 2 (11 August): 15km
Shared dorm room option: R2350 (You get two nights accommodation in a shared dorm room as well as all your meals at the race village and a race garment.)
Tented sharing: R1800 (You get two nights accommodation in a shared tent that has a mattress in as well as all your meals at the race village and a race garment.)
Tented solo: R2300 (You get two nights accommodation in your own tent that has a mattress in as well as all your meals at the race village and a race garment.)
Own accommodation: R1000(Participants choosing the “Own Accommodation” option organise their own accommodation at either a B&B, a lodge or a friend and therefore do not stay in the race village.)
