Spring Trail Run Presented by FALKE
Let’s celebrate Spring on the beautiful trails in the Simonsberg Conservancy. Get your entry in, as entries are limited at this special venue. Great FALKE prizes to be won by our title sponsor.
REGISTRATION: From 07h30 at Knorhoek
DISTANCES & START TIMES: 6km: 08h45 & 11km: 08h30
COST: Pre entries (pre-entries closing on Thursday, 29 August)
6km – R115, 11km – R130
Children under the age of 18 only pay R50. Note this is only for pre entries, late entries will pay the late entry fee!
Late entries: If available, will be taken on event day at an additional fee
Timing by Amarider Trail Tag – available for rent (R20) or to buy (R100).
ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: Don’t miss singletrack heaven on the slopes of Simonsberg! Climbing in the forest just above the cellar with various trails bringing you back to the finish. These are not easy routes, but SO worth it! Beautiful singletrack sections not normally open to the public.
GENERAL INFO:
Pre-entries will get the discount. Medal to all finishers! A refreshment station on both routes will have Powerade, fruit & jellies and Coke at the finish for all! Recovery massages available. Knorhoek wine and FALKE prizes for the winners are the top three male & females of each distance, as well as in the lucky draw. There will be coffee, drinks and food for sale, but book in advance for lunch at the restaurant.
