Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, 10km & Trail Runs

Sanlam Cape Town Marathon has decided that, if need be, it will refund all entry fees in the event of it being cancelled this October 2020.

The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is Africa’s only IAAF Gold label status marathon. It is managed by a partnership between WPA, the City of Cape Town and ASEM Running and is endorsed by two of South Africa’s sporting greats, Elana Meyer and Francois Pienaar.

The marathon passes some of Cape Town’s famous landmarks. It’s ideal for those who want to run a fast time and for marathon first-timers. The 10-K commemorates the United Nation’s International Day of Peace. The 5-K follows a flat route through the Green Point Urban Park and Biodiversity Garden.

Rewards include prize money, goodie bags, giveaways and medals.
