Race Rules

The rules of Athletics SA & Limpopo Athletics are applicable

1. No vehicles or bicycles will be allowed on the route (official vehicles only);

2. The Race Referee will handle all disputes and his/her decision in disputes will be final;

3. 2023 license number or temporary licenses must be worn on the back of vest; and Age categories must be displayed on the front and back of vest;

4. All runners must ensure that they obtain a race elastic band at their turning point. No elastic band when reaching the finish line = disqualification from the race.

5. Water points every 3km with Coke and water;

6. Along the route, if nature calls: use only the porta-loos supplied at every water point – do not wander into the bush

7. The time limit for the 42,2km is 5h30minutes. Comrades qualifying at 4h50

8. Along the route: please do not litter. Hold on to your water sachets to the following water point.

9. Please respect fellow runners and supporters by not washing and bathing in the park toilets.

10. Start times: 42km – 06h00; 21km – 06h00; 10km – 06h15; 5km – 07h00

Online entries close on the 31 January 2023 or when the entry cap of 400 per distance has been reached.
