OMAC – EL 5km, 10km and 21.1km Race

Old Mutual Athletics Club-East London (OMAC-EL) hereby gives an update regarding their upcoming race on the 2nd May 2020. This update is giving consideration to the current outbreak of Corona Virus, also known as COVID-19.

Athletics South Africa (ASA) has issued a directive to postpone all athletics events for 30 days as a result of measures prescribed by the state as a response to the outbreak.

Although the 3rd OMAC-EL Race 5km, 10km and 21.1km event is outside the period directed by ASA. We will give a detailed update regarding the event at the end of the 30 days as stipulated by ASA.

We will monitor the situation and keep everyone updated regarding the race.

As OMAC-EL we are pro actively securing a potential date as a back up for any eventuality that might be as a result of the outbreak.
