Longmore Forest Endurance Run (LoFER)

The LoFER is a 100 Mile, 50 Mile, 50km or 30km endurance ultra run through the beautiful Longmore Forest Reserve in the Eastern Cape

The Longmore Forest Endurance Run (aka The LoFER) is a collaboration between MTO Forestry Eco-Tourism, Live Adventure and Andy Wesson Consulting.

The proposed routes for the race will consist of mostly forestry road and jeep track, so will be very runnable, and we expect as a result that this race will be one of the faster ultra courses in SA.

The LoFER Mini 50km & LoFER Micro 30km routes will share a small portion of the main LoFER route before branching off to establish their own unique identies as races.

All 100 Mile, 50 Mile & 50km runners will bag the peak of Blouberg, which at ~810m above sea level, is the highest peak in the area.

NOTE: 30km runners will not summit Blouberg.
