The Lomond ADVENTURE Trail Run Challenge, taking place on Saturday, 14 December 2024, at the breathtaking Lomond Wine Estate in Gansbaai, is a centrepiece event of the Lomond Adventure Weekend hosted by ADVENTURES.AFRICA.

Known for its rugged terrain and spectacular vistas, this unique trail running event invites both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic newcomers to test their limits in an exhilarating off-road setting.

Trail Run Challenge Categories:

Full Distance Trail Run:(Age 18 and up)
Run: 28km off-road trail run through vineyards, fynbos, and hilly terrain.
Short Distance Trail Run:(Age 16 and up)
Run: 18km trail run with a mix of technical sections and scenic routes through the estate.
Fun Run Distance:(All ages)
Run: 6km trail run, perfect for beginners, families, or those wanting to experience a more relaxed route while soaking in the stunning scenery.
