Dragonfly Tri Braai Trail Run

Come join us at Capaia Wines this Heritage Day and celebrate with a proudly South African boerewors braai!

Whether a novice trail runner or an experienced adventure enthusiast, we now have 3 route options available for all fitness levels.  Plus a delicious boerewors roll included in your entry and fantastic lucky draw prizes.

Routes

A short 4.6km around the dam and loop down through the vineyards with a max elevation of 110m. Perfect for families and walkers.

Our longer 10km is great for intermediate runners, taking you around the dam and over the rise to some single track which wraps back around and down through the vineyards and back up to the finish with a max elevation of 200m.

We have added a new 21km which will be a great option for the experience trail runners looking for a challenge.

Grab your boerewors roll at Mariella’s Restaurant when you finish. Wristband presented to collect.

Registration:

– from 6:30am (at Capaia)

– 21km runners to be registered by 7:10 latest as the shuttle will take you to the start at 7:15am

– Collect your race wristband & timing chip

– Vehicle keys / valuables can be handed in for safe keeping (while you race)

– Main parking will be on the farm opposite Capaia’s entrance. We will have a farm tractor doing regular transfers between the race village and parking.

– Race briefing will be 15min before each start time (please ensure you have registered before in order to make the start on time)

Race start times:

7.45am – 21km (shuttle to the start which leaves at 7:15am sharp)

8:10am – 10km (start in front of Mariellas)

8:15am – 4.6km (start in front of Mariellas)

Medals and prizes to podium finishers in all distances
