Listen To Your Body

Listening to your body will help you figure out a new way to improve motivation and fitness.

Sort Out Signals

Feeling sore after a hard run is to be expected; but a sharp pain that’s in a specific area, doesn’t fade with rest, or causes you to alter your stride means it’s time to see a doc.

Track Trends

Record workout details in a log to help you spot messages your body is sending. Be specific: “My right calf hurts more today than yesterday, especially on the hills.”

Run Happy

If you’re feeling unmotivated or burned out, change things up. Signing up for a race if you’re unfocused, or taking a break from performance goals if you’re stressed, can make your running more satisfying.
