An iconic, desert footrace. Run in the footsteps of the ancient Bushmen and spot wildlife. Terrain: rocky outcrops, sandy riverbeds, boulder-strewn koppies and vast outstretched grasslands.
It is covers 250km and is held in six stages over seven days.
Each finisher receives a trophy, which is a unique hand-blown glass leopard made by Ngwenay Glass. A special trophy is awarded to first, second and third place in the men’s and women’s races.
