SUMMARY:Battle up Blaauwberg Hill
DESCRIPTION:It starts with a Cannon.\n\n\n \n\n\nNot a starters pistol\, not a whistle\, no ready steady go – its a Cannon thats sets you off to a tough run up an even tougher hill.  The replenishment station on top serves Old Brown Sherry so life can return to your body\, well that and its a West Coast race.  Its tough but its fun and there’s a party brewing.\n\n\n \n\n\nStart and Finish is at the Table Bay Mall.  Lots of safe parking\, lots of space\, plenty of coffee and food available.  Lots of Spot Prizes and Lucky Draws.  This is going to be a good one.\n\n\n \n\n\n16km R180\n\n\n10km R150\n\n\n5km R  70\n\n\n \n\n\nThe 5km Fun Run is a flat run on tar and sand.  It is an easy entry level run.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe 10km and 16km are challenging.  You need to pack your own water\, its a cool start but usually has a warm finish.  The initial path as you enter the reserve is soft sand\, it requires technical skill\, patience and endurance to run through.  Save your legs if you want to attempt the hill without walking.  The hill is … well the Hill.  We will set the hill up as a timed segment. Queen and King of the Hill Award will go to the fastest up the hill – not necessarily the first.  Jeep track\, single track and hiking trail – this run has it all.\n\n\n \n\n\nEvery Finisher receives a Hand-Crafted Coaster and bottle of Cape Aqua Hydr8.\n\n\n \n\n\nPrize-giving and Lucky Draws start at 10h00.  And hey\, we can always put you in a trolley and push you to your car after.\n\n\nClick here to enter online
