DESCRIPTION:This is an event for Cederberg and Mountain lovers. \nFor the discerning trail runner who enjoys adventure and wilderness. \nYou need to be self-sufficient\, there is no pampering other than of endless panoramic views. \nA skyline trail around the amphitheater of the Kromrivier Valley. \nThe highest point of the trail is Donkerkloof Peak is at 1750 metres. Looking north you can see Sneeuberg\, the highest summit in the Cederberg. \nThe route traverses 6 Peaks\, and each must be reached within a Cut off time\, or you will be short coursed down the Valley. \nBut\, we are generous and if you can hike fast\, maintaining a reasonable tempo\, you will enjoy a thrilling day out. \nThe total distance is 45km\, and the elevation gain a very pleasant 2200 metres – we start at 1000 m\, at Kromrivier Farm. \nThe rock formations are ancient\, seldom viewed\, with a kaleidoscope of colours\, shapes and features. DESCRIPTION:The Bottelary Hills Renosterveld Conservancy (BHRC) is collaborating with TrailFun to host a series of trail runs in aid of community development.\n\n\nWe care about you and want you to succeed.  We arrange runs for you in a safe environment\, on a well marked route\, that is fun\, so you can relax and enjoy your morning run. \nTrail Running on Wine Farms \n\nSafe\, Entry level 5km\nChallenging 10km\nRun the 10km then 5km for 15km\nRun the 10km x 2 for 21km\nYou can walk any distance\n\nWine entry includes a bottle of Wine from Each Estate. \nHow cool is this\, there is a choice of starts too. \n\nThe Race = 5km and 10km Race with podium positions and prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd.  (junior entries do not get prizes)\nRelaxed Run = If you are looking for a fun\,  relaxed day running through a wine farm then this is for you.  Choose your own Start time from 7.00am up to 9.30am.  No groups\, no crowds\, just you and nature … and you can sleep late.\n\n(15km and 21km are Relaxed Run only\, there are no positional prizes\, they are designed as long-slow-distance training runs.)

DESCRIPTION:Back By Popular demand – Do you have what it takes?!!! \nThe farm yard ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 5500 meters in less than one hour. When each lap is completed\, the remaining time within the hour is typically used to recover for the next hour’s race. \nRules for the Farmyard Ultra\n1) Course\n5500m/ 5.5km loop \n2) Starts\n. Each loop starts precisely 1 hour after the last\n. Warning must be given 3\, 2\, and 1 minutes prior to start\n. All competitors must start at the bell (no late starts) \n3) Loops\n. Except for restrooms\, competitor may not leave the course until each loop is completed\n. No non-competitors on the course (including eliminated runners) excluding runners who will be running the fun run – they will be allowed to run 2 rounds consecutively.\n. No personal aid during a loop (common aid stations are allowed)\n. Each loop must be completed within an hour to be counted… including the final lap.\n.
