DESCRIPTION:Nestled within a natural amphitheater shaped by the vertical cliffs of the spectacular Simonsberg Mountain\, lies Vrede en Lust Estate – home to the wines produced and bottled by the Buys-family. \nOn the 29th of October 2022 the farm will be hosting their seventh annual Pink Xtreme Trail Run to help raise funds for CANSA during Cancer Awareness month. \nLast year we were able to raise R170 000 for CANSA and this year we hope to increase that number by at least R20 000. \nRunners on the 21km and 10km trail will run a challenging but beautiful trail through the old forestry towards the mountain with some of the most spectacular views on offer in the Paarl / Franschhoek region. \nThe 5km route will meander through the vineyards at Vrede and Lust. \nYou are welcome to walk the 5km and 10km routes but please do not walk the 21 km. \nThe Lust restaurant under new management by Ed Saunders will make sure that great meals are served. R350 \nMountain and Citrus orchard Trail run  \nNot a beginner trail run\, mostly on single track mountain trails and gravel roads\, with some short technical (loose rocks\, bushy) section\, obstacles and exhilaration for all skill levels. Your feet will get wet at river crossings. All rocks are slippery!
