DESCRIPTION:Saldanha Bay is named after Antonio De Saldanha\, captain of a vessel in Alburquerque’s fleet which visited South Africa in 1503. Saldanha is a natural harbour on the south-western coast of South Africa and is located about 105km from Cape Town. \nOn the long weekend of the 16th to the 18th of June the team of Onsite Events will be hosting their 1st half marathon on Saturday the 17th. On Sunday the 18th we will end the Health Weekend with a Beach Run at the Blue Bay Lodge in Saldanha. \nEvent Info: \nSaturday the 17th  –  5km\, 10km and 21km  \n5km  –  Start  –  8:45  –  R100 \n10km  –  Start  –  8:30  –  R130  –  Some gravel sections included. \n21km  –  Start  –  8:00  –  R180  –  Some gravel sections included. \nSunday the 18th  – Fun Beach Run \n4km  –  Start  –  8:45 – R50 \n8km  –  Start  –  8:30  –  R100 \nStart and finish at Blue Bay Lodge \nMedals for all finishers. \nNo waterpoints. \nFood stalls will be available.
