DESCRIPTION:This is a tough event for Cederberg and Mountain lovers. \nFor the discerning trail runner who enjoys adventure and wilderness. \nYou need to be self-sufficient\, there is no pampering other than of endless panoramic views. \nA skyline trail around the amphitheater of the Kromrivier Valley. \nThe highest point of the trail is Donkerkloof Peak is at 1750 metres. Looking north you can see Sneeuberg\, the highest summit in the Cederberg. \nThe route traverses 6 Peaks\, and each must be reached within a Cut off time\, or you will be short coursed down the Valley. \nBut\, we are generous and if you can hike fast\, maintaining a reasonable tempo\, you will enjoy a thrilling day out. \nThe total distance is 42km\, and the elevation gain a very pleasant 2100m – we start at 1000m\, at Kromrivier Farm.

DESCRIPTION:We value you. \nWe want your run to be safe\, well marked\, and fun. We design some to be hard\, so you can challenge yourself. Others are easy so you can exercise and recover quicker. \nThis one is easy \nTrail running helps you grow physically\, emotionally\, mentally and spiritually. The more you push yourself the stronger you get. To encourage you\, we add rewards. \nWine entry includes a bottle of wine from each estate. \nHow cool is this\, there is a choice of starts too. \n\nThe Race – 5km and 10km races with podium positions and prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd.  (Junior entries do not get prizes)\nRelaxed Run – If you are looking for a fun\, relaxed day running through a wine farm then this is for you.  Start when you want\, any time up to 9.30am.  No groups\, no crowds\, just you and nature … and you can sleep late.\n\n(15km and 21km are Relaxed Run only\, there are no positional prizes\, they are designed as long-slow-distance training runs.)

DESCRIPTION:On the 21st of May 2023 the team of Onsite Events and owners of the popular Run The Vines Trail Runs will host their 2nd event at the picturesque Alto Wines near Stellenbosch. \nThe trails will take you all along the farm with a visit to one of the neighboring farms for the longer distance. You will enjoy amazing views of the Stellenbosch region from the “top” and also run on some single track sections through the forest and at Ernie Els Wines next door. We are going to make some changes to the routes to make sure that there are less climbs especially for the shorter route.  \nINFO \n5km  – Start at 8:45  –  R130 \n10km  –  Start at 8:30  –  R150 \n17km  –  Start at 8:00  –  R180 \nLate entry fee  –  R50 \nAll unpaid entries will be deleted after 3 day’s. \nTiming with Bouttime. \nMedals for all finishers. \nJoin us for a day of fun\, good food and wine with the whole family.
