DESCRIPTION:This run is to assist this very special boy\, Little Mason Van Dyk who was welcomed into the world on 6 March 2013. \nMason was born with an extremely rare and severe form of Ichthyosis\, Harlequin Ichthyosis (HI).  There is no cure for this condition. HI is a rare skin disorder that prevents the skin from forming a protective layer and impairs skin functions that we take for granted. Despite the many physical challenges\, Mason’s mental and intellectual development is normal. \nAt birth\, Mason was given only 5 days to survive.
