DESCRIPTION:Saldanha Bay is named after Antonio De Saldanha\, captain of a vessel in Alburquerque’s fleet which visited South Africa in 1503. Saldanha is a natural harbour on the south-western coast of South Africa and is located about 105km from Cape Town. \nOn the long weekend of the 16th to the 18th of June the team of Onsite Events will be hosting their 1st half marathon on Saturday the 17th. Well then\, Running For Transformation is for you!\n‍\nRunning for Transformation is a fundraising event on the 16th of June 2023. The fun run starts and finishes from SACS High School in Newlands\, Cape Town and is run over 5km or 10km. Walkers are also more than welcome to participate! Previously we had multiply starts\, but this year there will be one starting time 08:00. You can also choose to run virtually if you’d prefer. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 6km/12km Charity Run & Walk in picturesque Pringle Bay on Sunday 2 October 2022. \nThe route will take us from the village center through town\, across Buffels River\, and then along the old mountain dirt road to Rooi Els and back. \nWe are fundraising for local resident Carla Cheyne-Rossouw who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis\, and all proceeds will go to assist with her MS treatment. \nRegister on Quicket to reserve your spot as a limited number of runners can be accommodated. \nThe cost is R100 for adults and kids under 12 may participate for free. \nRegistration and numbers will start from 7:00 in front of the old Miems in Pringle Bay (363 Central Road)\, with the run commencing at 8:00. \nOrganised by Baytown Charity Run NPC\, Reg. no. 2016/074227/08. \nhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/baytowncharityrun
