DESCRIPTION:ROUTE DESCRIPTION: \nThe first kilometer is a fast gentle downhill along Hendrik Potgieter Road. Then a left into the pretty suburb of Little Falls and you start the climb up to the highest point at about 5.5 kilometers. It is a gentle climb up to Witwatersrand Road before turning right with the odd short downhill to relieve your legs. Here you will have a great view of the valley spreading out towards Magaliesberg. Between 5.5 and 6.5 kilometers you drop rapidly\, then it is a gentle climb up to eight kilometers\, followed by a steady drop to nine kilometers. Participants are required to wear shorts such that their knees are visible. \nFEES  \nThe pre-entry fee for the 10km race (both walkers and runners) is R90. Entry fee on the day of the race is R110. Anybody can join\, however\, if you are not registered to an athletics club you will be required to pay an additional fee of R30 for a temporary licence. \nThe pre-entry fee for the 5km race is R40 per participant. Entry fee on the day of the race is R50. No licences are required for this race and everybody is welcome to take part.
