DESCRIPTION:INTERCARE CLASSIC ROAD RACE – NEW EXCITING ROUTE AND VENUE \nIntercare and Magnolia Road Runners have partnered with Castle Gate Lifestyle Centre to host our annual road race\, which attracts around 5\,000 participants\, including entrants for the 5km charity family fun run and 10km and 21.1km Athletics Gauteng North registered races. \nOnline entries close on 25 January 2024.  \nGENERAL  \n\nThe 21\,1km and 10km routes are single-lap routes.\nDistance markers are displayed every km. Refreshment stations are approximately 3km apart. Dispose of cups and water sachets in the recycling bins at the refreshment stations.\nMedical support is provided along routes and at the venue.\nFast foods and refreshments are on sale at the venue. Only official and accredited vehicles can park at the Finish and the club sites.\nPlease set up club gazebos on the Friday before race day. Happening at Loftus Park\, we will be celebrating the power and strength of women while raising awareness for cancer. \nWe have a fun 5km and 10km route planned\, guaranteed to be something that you and your girlfriends will enjoy\, giving you an insider view into Loftus Stadium!  It’s an adventure where you will run through the player’s tunnel\, run through the stadium\, refresh at unique water points\, and navigate fun surprises along the way. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, 29 July 2023 \, the picturesque PPC Riebeek Bergmarathon returns for its 35th year\, since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. This community and family favourite event\, proudly sponsored by PPC Ltd\, and continually being lauded as one of South Africa’s most anticipated marathons\, has been awarded the Boland Athletics Certificate of Achievement in 2019. The event welcomes athletes and their families to take a break from the city and enjoy the quaint countryside. As a Two Oceans Marathon qualifying race\, it offers athletes four different race categories – Experienced runners can tackle the 42.2km marathon or the 21.1km half marathon\, while novice runners can join in on the spirit of the day at a more relaxed pace\, with the 10km run/walk or 5km fun run/walk. \nStart times: \n\n5km – 08h45\n10km – 08h30\n21.1km – 08h00\n42.2km – 07h30\n\nNote: The closing date for entry forms is Monday 17 July 2023. No late entries will be accepted.
