DESCRIPTION:We care about you and we want you to succeed. \nWe partner with Wine Farms so you can have a safe place to run\, that is well marked and has great views.  And fun\, we want you to have lots of fun. \nThis Full Moon run starts around sunset (Sunset is 7.04pm).  You will need to run with a headlamp or torch as you will finish in the dark.  Start and finish will be at Simons Restaurant who will have a special runners menu available on the evening.  We will be in the function hall.  If you wish to sit and order in the restaurant\, please do book a table with them. \nSuperjog will have a table with trail gear and headlamps for sale \nGroot Constantia is unique in that it has two 5km routes :  \na)  5km pink route – this is an intermediate 5km route with some elevation and fantastic views. (4.8km\, 220m elevation) \nb)  5km yellow route  – this is an entry level 5km route that is relatively flat and pram friendly (5.5km \, 130m elevation) \nRunning both these routes gives you a full 10km (no loop). \nIf you are looking for a long run\, you can do the 10km route followed by any of the 5km routes to make up a 15km run – or do the 10km route twice for a 20km+ \nTrailFun – Trail Running on Wine Farms \n\nSafe\, Intermediate level 5km\nChallenging 10km\nRun the 10km then 5km for 15km\nRun the 10km x 2 for 21km\nYou can walk any distance\n\nPlease note : you need to finish your run by 9.30pm.  This is a stipulation by Groot Constantia

DESCRIPTION:After a break of almost 2 and a half years we are back!!! \nThe Wagon Trail Breweries are a “any type of runner” friendly night run that we have been hosting for almost 4 years at the majestic Anura Wine Estate near Klapmuts. The routes are fairly easy and flat with almost no technical single track on the routes. Most of the route is normal farm roads. \nRunners will be able to do a 5km (Family Friendly) route as well as a more challenging 10km route. \nMedals for all finishers. \nOnly 1st place prizes. The rest will be lucky draw’s!! \nInfo: \n5km  –  R120  –  Start at 18:35. DESCRIPTION:The 7th edition of Carné’s Full Moon Beach Run will take place on Thursday\, 12 December 2019 when the stars\, full moon and low tide combine perfectly once again. \nChain Gang Events in partnership with Wilderness NSRI\, the event’s official charity\, want to help you tick this one off your bucket list\, and run on what’s been described as the best stretch of beach in the country! Join us on the evening of Thursday\, 12 December 2019. \nStarting at Swartvlei Beach\, the 21km runners will pass Gericke’s Point\, the rocky landmark resembling a lion’s head. Thereafter enjoy kilometers of mixed sand and rock shelves with the warm Benguela current on your left and the fossilised sandstone dunes towering above you on your right. Passing Kleinkranz village (the 6km Runners starting point) and a mid-run refreshment stop\, runners then reach Flat Rock and a few more kilometers of sand running to the finish at Wilderness NSRI. \nThe Wilderness NSRI base will host the finish where runners will be greeted with medals\, boerewors roll and a drink (included in your entry)\, and an opportunity to share this amazing experience with fellow runners and family. \nCome and enjoy the experience and support a worthy cause.
