This programme is aimed at those who have run a 21km before and/or are have been running consistently for the last year. You should be running about 30-40km a week to start this programme.

I just completed my first Two Oceans Half Marathon in a time of 2:15:32. I was so pleased considering the staggered start. I am happy to say that I followed your 21.1km programme as best as I could and managed to come close to my predicted time (based on a 10km PB) of 2hrs 15min 32 sec even though the start took a bit of time to cross the line. I will definitely be back next year – of that there is no doubt!
