The Icebreaker GT technical base layer is made from 97% New Zealand Marino sheep wool. The trick is to keep this fabric non itchy.
Icebreaker succeed and deliver a garment which, although expensive, will last a whole lot longer due to the wools ability to not pick up odour.
The tops are also biodegradable “because it was made in the mountains from grass, water and sunshine, rather than petrochemicals in a lab. Merino wool is also renewable and recyclable”
