Ryan Sandes Withdraws From Otter Trail, 4 Peaks.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Ryan Sandes has decided to withdraw from this year’s 4 Peaks and Otter Trail run due to an unstable ankle, which he wants to strengthen before the start of his 2013 international calendar.

He will still be running the Salomon Skyrun on the 3rd of November.

Says Sandes: “I have made a very tough decision to pull out of 4 Peaks and the Otter Trail Run due to my ankle still being very unstable after spraining it before Western States in June this year. I will use the next 2 months to strengthen my ankle and the rest of my body before the start of the 2013 season.

I am still very excited to be taking part in the 100km Salomon Skyrun at the beginning of November, as well as a new exciting trail running event that Red Bull will be holding at the end of November (details to be released shortly).”

For more info or to see what Ryan will be up to next follow him on his Facebook fan page or on Twitter as well as his website.
