Ryan Sandes Wins TNF100

Trail runner Ryan Sandes has added another big title to his ever-growing list of victories: the NorthFace 100 in Australia.

Ryan had unfinished business at the race, after coming third in 2011.

Competing against more than 700 solo runners, including top runners Jezz Bragg (a previous UTMB winner), Mike Donges, Davies Lee, Brendan Davies and Andy Lee, Ryan Sandes won in a time of 9hrs22min. His time is just under 3 minutes off Kilian Jornet’s 2011 record of 9:19:06.

The Northface 100 is considered one of the most difficult 100km ultra-trail events in the Southern Hemisphere.
