Winners of the “Virgin Money – Insurance like it should be” competition enjoyed a trip to run the Virgin London Marathon.

Some feedback from the runners:
Saturday, 21 April 2012:
We all arrived quite tired as no one really slept well on the plane. We were met at the airport and taken to the hotel. From there we took a long tube ride to the Virgin London Marathon Expo in the Docklands area. It was really fantastic and well organised – we met our firsts celebrities there – The Wombles.
Everyone bought bits and pieces at the Expo and had their names printed on their shirts so we are all ready for the morning.
We then headed off to the London Eye and visited Buckingham Palace.
The hotel is full of marathon runners and the weather report on the news has a snippet on what to expect in terms of weather for tomorrow at the marathon (rain).
The vibe here is stunning and our tracksuit tops with our names on are a real hit! We have been stopped by several people asking where we are from and why we all have the same tracksuit tops.
So far, it has been loads of fun!

We are having an awesome time and feel like we are living in a dream!
On Sunday we got up early for the marathon. The event was absolutely incredible and I do not have the words to describe the feeling.
Henning finished in approximately 3:29; Mike Punnett in 4:14; Zamo in 4:15; Saul in 4:30; Megan in 4:52 and Mike Finch in 5:02.
These are not the official times, but the times we measured on our own watches.
The sun was shining throughout the run and the vibe, music and spectator support was fantastic!
