First run in 1991, Om-Die-Dam has become the largest inland ultra marathon in South Africa. Because it traverses a scenic route via the Hartbeespoort Dam, it attracts over 10 000 participants every year.
Gold medals are awarded to category winners, silver to men who finish under 3:45 and women under 4:10, and bronze to all other finishers.
The 50km, 21.1km and 10km races are timed by Championchip.
Starting times: 50km & 21.1km: 6am; 10km & 5km: 6:30am
