Wow wow wow! Love the route! Definitely a lot of potential for this race. My only real criticism would be the late start time – it’s pretty hot to still be running at midday. But great route, good vibe. Will be back.

    • Nini says:

Ran the 10 Km Peace Run. Very well organised. Well done!

    • Barry says:

Very well organised but the only downside is that it started to late…

    • Charl du Plessis says:

Very well organised. It will only improve in years to come from spectator and vibe perspective. There were areas we did not feel safe with cars, trucks and taxis getting very close to us

    • Juan says:

Well organised. Sufficient water points and great vibe. Best finish yet. Good route.

    • Marina says:

22km Peace Trail was tough, but very well organized (well done Wildrunner), unbelievably beautiful, would definitely be there next year. 10km Peace today – lots of fun, fabulous route, only bit of criticism – seeding would be nice – nice race for both runners and walkers, but 1st km was bit frustrating if you were a runner, but not an elite.

    • Gavin Bell says:

An awesome marathon, from registration to the actual event everything went so smoothly, was an absolute pleasure! The water stations were well stocked and at perfect distances. .. It all helped my time of 3h40 :)

My first full marathon, great event well organised we will be back.

    • Well organised, great water stations, all well stocked with enough to eat also. Loved the vibe at the beginning also. Route was great, beautiful scenery and really showcased the best of Cape Town. The only downfall was the late start. It became really hot on the route later into the morning. Well done to the organizers for a great race. Mmm, and I never get the t-shirt sizes and right. They always differ…

    • Brian Robertson says:

The Mother City Marathon lived up to it’s billing in every aspect. Definitely in the diary for next year.
