There is only 1 hydration table and streams that one can drink from if they have not dried up in this heat.
No need for club colours but we recommend something red, white or pink in the spirit of Valentine’s Day.

The entries are on our Facebook page. Under the profile picture, there is a menu list – one of those is called “Love Running – Entry” with a little heart icon. The entry form is there.

Yes, entry fee includes your entrance to Kirstenbosch… walkers are welcome but since it’s an evening race there will be a cut off time. I’ll confirm this, but think it’s 2 hours.
I enlisted to do the 10k run on valentines day, registered on Facebook about four days ago but have not had any confirmation that I am registerd and details of the race – should I be expecting something?

I am so disappointed that the entries have closed! Please could you open a waiting list…my boyfriend and i have been overseas and only read about this awesome run when we came back to SA (yesterday). We would really like to do this run together as we got engaged on the 14th of Jan 2012 and it would be our one month celebration (and we are both keen runners),,,,and his birthday exactly another month later… Please let me know!!! – we are really really keen to do this together!

Great race :)
Started with the front pack which got diverted the wrong way only to be steered back into the masses forcing me into a scenario where I twisted my ankle as I tried to pass people. hmmmph.
Was sure that this was done on purpose which sucked because it was the first time I got a good start.
Then, inadequate markers directed me and probably 80% of the field to finish the wrong way in 8kms and not 10km.
Would have preferred more single track, but the downhill jeep track at the end was quite interesting to say the least.
