Nestled in the fertile Constantia Valley, the 300 year old Groot Constantia Estate is the perfect wine estate for a night trail run series.

After the successful Autumn Series, held in April, it is now time for the SPRING series. You will get the chance to weave your way up, down and through vineyards, with just a headlamp, the moonlight and the sounds of the friendly chatter of fellow runners. The night running experience is an unforgettable one.

Merrell Night Series Race ReportThe MERRELL Spring Night Series comprises of three night runs on the Wednesday evenings of the 4th, 11th and 18th September. As with April, there will be a 5km and an 8km run, so that beginners and experienced trailies alike can enjoy the experience. All runs will start at 6:45pm, which is a perfect time to meet up with family and friends after work and grab a quick run, before heading home.

Once again, Simon’s Restaurant will host the series and is the ideal venue to enjoy the fantastic Groot Constantia wine tasting, awesome Gourmet burgers and a cosy fireplace.

Entries will open at 9am on 15 July and are limited to 275 runners per night. Enter at early, to avoid disappointment. A MERRELL Buff or MERRELL Peak Cap will be given to the first 200 runners who enter two or more of the series.
