Breaking: Oscar Pistorius Shoots Girlfriend

South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend, after thinking she was a burglar.

Beeld reports that Pistorius shot his girlfriend at his home at 04h00 this morning, 14 February. Captain Sarah Mcira has confirmed that she was shot in the arm and head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pistorius is currently in police custody, and will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate Court later today.
