Unique Fact: Featured on the official athletics calendar, this race offers a relaxed vibe in which participants are free to walk and run.
It’s a well organized, popular annual event, which attracts up to 850 competitors. There will be plenty of friendly marshals along an enjoyable, relatively easy course, and ample water and coke.
The first 800 finishers will receive T-shirts sponsored by the Waterfall Spar and there will be great lucky draw prizes (including a pair of Saucony running shoes).
There will be plenty of secure parking and a tog bag facility, as well as free tea and coffee for supporters and participants, and breakfast for sale.
Start times: 10km: 7am; Kids Fun Run: 9am
Participants must be a minimum age of 16, in accordance with KZN Athletics.
Enter on 31 June 2012, between 2pm and 5pm, or on race day, from 5am.
