Registration was not very clearly marked from the HPC area. Signs just stopped. All other signs (toilets etc) in abundance. The race was short by 800m which got lost around 14km. And sadly no coke was available at the finish – lots of water luckily!

Totally conjested start which took 5min to pass the start line. The first proper waterpoint with cold water was after the 10km split the points prior were short manned and disorganized. The route was 600 meters short which is disgusting considering its a league event. And then after the two hours there was no coke or water at the finish point. The people who entered on line did not get the same good quality shirts as those who entered at the shops.

Definitely a lot of effort put into the race (big congrats on that!) however it was short – I calculated 600m short for the 21.1km. The entries were very difficult to find though. The start was very congested – the walkers starting early could not get to the front for their start – and needs to be though planned differently in some way. The club tents position was also weird – why not on the field where the announcements are and not hidden away on a small bank? Clubs will in future choose to not bring their tents if this is the case.

    Good run though!

Different route. I missed most kilo markers because I’m to unfit to read & try to run. 3 water points for extra vooma. Enjoyed live band near end. And scored a T-shirts at finish.

Enjoyed the run. Not too much they could have done wrt congestion. Also measured it as 600m short,
Suspect a marshal went walkabout between the 13 & 15k markers. Didn’t spot the 14k marker and
these 2k’s were where the 600m went missing.

Nice race with a good route. However the start wasn’t great. It took us nearly 5 minutes to pass the starting line due to a very narrow road… I’ve only taken water at the 9 km mark (Land Rover) and it was just undrinkable…

Yes the route was too short, but I suspect that was due to a marshal giving us the wrong direction just after 13km’s at the mini-circle t-junction between Kings Highway and Miller’s Mile. We were suppose to have turned left, following the flags and not carrying on straight using the Chamberlains Classic route…

Start and number collect was badly planned but once the race had started much like the Deloitte half marathon coming up in a weeks time so nice to get familiar. Nice route.

Wel gedaan aan al die organiseerders.
    Altyd ‘n goed ge-organiseerde wedloop.

Great race ! Start very congested – 10km & 21km should start about 15mins apart, would help a great deal. Water points were great – thanks to organisers for a well organised race – I will be back next year

Not a bad route (bar being 600m short) but found the water tables under-staffed – at about 4 water tables I had to wait for someone to finish pouring the cups of coke before I could grab one – not great if you were racing/ wanted a new PB. Conjestion at the start wasn’t great either.

Start to congested as it was in the past. Not sure why they dont split the 10km and 21km to start at different times. Also the 21 was to short. Water tables was OK with warm water as some of the tables. Enjoyed the route. Different from last year and year before that.

    5km was 1.6 km short????????
Why sell it as a 5km race at all?

Lovely route, pity for the mix-up between 13km and 15km. I would suggest 15 minutes starting gap for 10km and 21 km to alleviate the initial congestion.

Organisation was okay, finding the registration area was difficult, start was totally congested for such a big event. Start for 21 and 10 should be separate. No cold water at some water points. No coke or water at finish. Did enjoy the route.
