Show solidarity and support during National Women’s Month by competing in the 2011 Totalsports Ladies Race!
Early entries will receive an official race T-shirt and medals will be awarded to all finishers. Walkers, joggers and runners of all ages are encouraged to celebrate Women’s Month by either taking part in the 5km or 10km run/walk. Moms with prams are welcome, while husbands, friends and family are encouraged to join in the fun and show support on route. With awesome prizes up for grabs, the 2011 Totalsports Ladies Race is an event not to be missed.
This race was fantastic. The route was lovely, there were ample refreshments (both water and coke) along the route, more than enough marshalls and the vibe was fantastic. The medal was also lovely. The only complaint I would have (which doesn’t actually refer to the race itself) is that the medium T-shirt I requested was huge, it seemed more like a large to me. Next year I’ll order a small.
It was my first race and I felt overall, it was well organised. Plenty marshalls and water points. The only complaint I have is that the runners should start half an hour before the walkers. It was difficult to get past the walkers. Other than that, it was fine. I’m looking forward to my next race!
Good, positive vibe, plenty spectators to give support, stunning route, but please let runners start in front. Race made me feel proud to be a woman, regardless of hubbie, kiddo’s, pushy boss!
