Runners and their families can enjoy a fun weekend, whether a competitive cyclist or runner or just keen for a walk in the countryside, or simply to spectate.
The 25km course is balanced and traverses croplands, plantations, open veld and sugar-cane lands. The 10km route takes runners under the Heinespruit bridge and gently meanders along plantation and farm roads, before turning at the Enfield homestead, to return to the finish. Although there is a short section of single track, the route is mainly open and flowing. Runner’s will return to the Beehive over a specially constructed bridge.
On the Saturday evening, you will be able to get potjiekos for supper (all the money raised goes to G911) and there will be a open bar. There are excellent facilities, including secure camping and guaranteed hot showers.
Start times: 10km: 2pm (25th); 25km & 10km: 6:30am (26th)
