The best organised marathon in the “greater” Gauteng area- by a long margin. Easy and fast access to the start area, plenty of shaded parking. The bibs of Pre-entries are written up for you (as they should be). the start is fast, the water tables are all very well resourced: people, food, fruit, vaseline, plasters etc. porta-loos along the route. The route is quiet, shady and well marshalled, with a fast finish, not crowded into the stadium. hot showers afterwards. well done to the Sasolburg Chemists, Engineers and all staff members who consistently present such a great marathon experience.
John Horrocks has covered it all. It really is worth the trip from Johannesburg.
Best organised race as described by John. Fantastic work all involved!
