Flatter than in previous years, the route passes through Edenvale.
The first three finishers and category winners will receive a gold medal. All runners who finish the marathon in less than 03:00, and the half marathon in less than 1:30, will receive a silver medal. All other finishers will receive bronze medals.
Pre-entries, available online and at Dischem and Re/Max will close on Monday 5 March 2012 at 6pm. You can also enter at registration venues, from Wednesday 7 March, and on race day, from 5am.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Re/Max sponsorship, the first 3 000 pre-entries will receive a goodie bag and t-shirt.A Champion chip is essential for race results and prizes.
Grand Masters pay a reduced fee. Blind runners and their pilots enjoy free entry.
