Description
Regarded as one of South Africa’s best marathons, runners can choose from a marathon (42km) a half marathon (21km), or an 8km or 4km fun run. For the little ones, there’s a 420m mini marathon (from under 4 to under 10 age groups). There’s also a Family Fun Day to keep everyone entertained, with jumping castles and children’s entertainment.
All events start and finish at Saheti School in Senderwood, Johannesburg.
The marathon and half marathon are pre-entry only. Entries available at running shops, or online at www.pnpmarathon.co.za

Well organised race but a bit too big, parking was a nightmare.
Very enjoyable run. The race started on time and water-points were well attended. I did not like the PNP Cola. Potatoes would be good on the second lap of the marathon. Nice finishing area.
Great race, started on time, well organized water points, enough to drink, cold water sachets at all water points, even on the second lap! Well organized marshalls – big thank you. I’ll be back next year.
I agree that it was a well-organised race, lots of medical support evident, frequent water tables, festive end. However, the PnP cola was disgusting and short on pep. One runner expressed concern at facing the second lap specifically because of the thought of more of that stuff! I’m not keen to do that again, and also not keen on carrying my own around for 42k’s. I’ll aim for another race this time next year – pretty much every other one has real Coke going…
