Great race, this was the best races I have ever been to. The only suggestion I would make is to change the last two kms of the race. That was just cruel.
I really enjoyed this race te weather was good. Felt strong, the 50km was a very nice route, lots to see and people to cheer us on
Very well organized!!! Best race I have run to date.
What a nice run! well organised thanks to everyone involved. May put out some bins for the water sachets and coke cups..?
Wonderful race, well organized. Challenging but well balanced route.
Would suggest, instead of just coke, maybe creamsoda/powerrade in second half.
Water tables – water cold, just at some spots you had to ask for water, as officials were busy chatting to one another – in all fairness, it’s a long time to man the water tables, so forgiven.
It is a well organized race. The course is challenging, especially the last two kilometres. if they could be changed, we will have a better finish. I enjoyed it and was able to run the whole of Saartie. Ek gan Saartie in die nuwe jaar ontmoet.
We are having a special for all runners running OM DIE DAM ROAD RACE, 16 March @ R180.00 per person, booking is essential. Please email tomsbackpackers@telkomsa.net
The best organised race I have been to, and ran my first half marathon this year.
Well done to the organizers! Very well organised race. Other than some of the water points that lacked some helpers everything went well
