Faultless organisation from one of the smaller clubs. Well-manned water points (with ample and well spread bins after each point). Certainly not a “flat and easy” route but very enjoyable. Great marshalling (especially at busy intersections). Most importantly, the advertised 21.1km distance was exactly that! Thanks Old Eds!

Awesome race and among best organisation I have encountered. This was largely helped by the fact that the race kicked off from the health club, so anyone with a national gym membership had extra options for pre and post race drinks and snacks as well as shower facilities.

The extra luxury of being able to use the club’s facilities aside, the race was well planned – number collection and registration was quick and painless, the marshalling was excellent and the water-points very cleverly laid out.

    Excellent race.

Mark and Shaun both echo my sentiments. I didn’t enjoy it last year and was a bit apprehensive about doing it this year but it was so well organised everything from registration, number collection, start, marshalling to water points, absolutely fabulous. It also helped change my view on double lappers, I’ve hated them up until last weekend. I’m definitely returning next year. Well done Old Eds *thumbs up*

The race was well organised as usual and the venue is great, with the use of the Old Eds VA. I liked the new course which is different to the last time I ran a few years ago. It does amaze me however that a club with such experience in putting on well organised races cannot do a simple thing like measure the correct distances for the two races. Simple maths tells me that there is no way that for a 21.1km course and a 10km course that the last 3 km markers can be at the same point.

Fun race, very friendly, and well-organized. Like previous poster, though, I’m having trouble finding the results.
